Lunar New Year Parade 2023

After two years of hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Kiwanis Clubs of Douglaston and Kiwanis Hope Foundation are returning to the joyous Lunar New Year Parade in Flushing. Celebrating one of the year's biggest festivals with others could become a platform for sharing and understanding differences. This year’s celebrations will be memorable, as the Asian community has had different adversities during the ongoing pandemic.

We have invited members from the Key Club of RFK High School and Queens High School for Language Studies to participate in the process of designing and executing our float. We are amazed by their creativity and dedication throughout the process. We are delighted to see the Kiwanis brand being out to the public, a community that we loved.
