Founded in 2021 by the Kiwanis Club of Douglaston and Big Apple from the heart of Queens, New York.
The team has been dedicated to improving every aspect of life in the community.

The ongoing pandemic is the biggest global health crisis of our lifetime—threatens children in every way. There are many families suffering from the loss of their loved ones. Especially young children, who lost their parents or found their families in financial hardship, which affected their studies. COVID-19 has changed the way we live and certainly how kids get their education. Many families can’t afford to purchase technological devices or school supplies for their children. Kiwanis Clubs of Douglaston and Big Apple, the non-profit organizations that have been serving in Queens East since the pre-COVID-19 era are taking the initiative to start the healing process by helping these children get back to school. We want to help them in any way we can because we care and we believe that children are the hope and the future of our world.

WHAT IS KIWANIS HOPE FOUNDATION?

The Kiwanis Hope Foundation is a 502(c)(9) nonprofit organization founded in New York that helps fulfill the needs of children education between the ages of 5 and 20 years old. The foundation will provide support to children from low-income families in many ways such as school supplies, tutoring, mentorship, and scholarship.
